Foreword

This Standard is developed by sinopec engineering Incorporation in cooperation with other involved organizations according to the requirements of Document（JIANBIAO〔2007〕No.126）issued by the original Ministry of Construction（MOC）of the People s Republic of China-Notice on Printing and Distributing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards（2nd Group）in 2007.

In preparing this Standard，the working team summarized the practices of developing design deliverables for petrochemical plants，absorbed the research outcomes in recent years，made reference to applicable codes and standards，discussed，revised，refined and finalized this Standard based upon comments consolidated from the geotechnical engineering reconnaissance organizations，engineering companies，research institutes，construction companies and users.

This standard consists of 6 chapters and 1 appendix，covering general provisions，terms and abbreviations，basic requirements，process design package，basic engineering design and detailed engineering design.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People s Republic of China is in charge of administration of this Standard.China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation（Sinopec Group）is responsible for its routine management.Sinopec Engineering Incorporation is in charge of the explanation of technical specifications.All relevant organizations are kindly invited to summarize and accumulate actual experiences when implementing this Standard.Relevant comments and recommendations，when necessary，should be submitted to the Management Team for Standard for the Formation of Engineering Design Deliverables for Petrochemical Plants in Sinopec Engineering Incorporation（Address:Bldg.21 Anyuan，Anhui Bei Li，Chaoyang District，Beijing，Post code:100101）as a reference for revising this Standard in the future.
